Refund Specifications

If you have returned an order, your refund, if applicable, will be returned to you once your order arrives at our Acme Tools warehouse location. To know which type of refund you will receive, the refund form depends on the type chosen during the return initiation process. Most customers receive their refund as either online store credit in the form of a digital Acme Tools gift card or as a set amount refunded to their original form of payment.

If you pay for your order with a gift card, you will be refunded with a new digital gift card in your Acme Tools account wallet or email inbox.

  • Gift cards take priority over any other payment method. This means when used, the gift card used will be refunded first before any other form of payment is refunded.

Please note that the balance on a gift card can only ever be refunded to a separate digital gift card and never to another credit card.

Remember that, in some cases, we at Acme Tools reserve the right to make the refund only possible through an Acme Tools digital or physical gift card. See our returns policies for more details. We also reserve the right to deny resellers of any kind the benefit of utilizing our returns and refund policies at Acme Tools at any time. We may additionally charge a restocking fee in some cases. Are you returning an item?

After your return reaches the warehouse, a quality check is needed. This is to identify any new defects or damages. Expect a processing time of up to 5 business days. Then, your refund will be issued within 30 days of this check. It may take up to 7 days for the funds to appear in your account. Depending on the item's condition, a partial or zero refund might be given.

Within 30 days of processing your return at our Acme Tools warehouse, you will receive a refund to either your Acme Tools account or your original payment method.


Delivery Costs & Pricing

At Acme Tools, return costs depend on the timing and condition of the returned product. Returns are free if made within 30 days of the initial shipping date. Acme Tools replaces defective items returned within this period and reimburses the original ground shipping expenses.

Beyond 30 days, customers must refer to the manufacturer’s warranty. Non-defective returns within 30 days are eligible for a refund but may incur a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price, and customers bear all shipping costs. Returns of abnormally bulky items may involve additional shipping and handling charges, potentially requiring a freight carrier. Item Cancellations

If you cancel your order before it is shipped, there is no refund, as Acme Tools only charges your preferred payment method after the item has been shipped. Because of this, expect not to be charged for your order and only to incur the expenses and liabilities of the other item(s), when applicable, that are still being shipped as part of your order. For credit cards, the reservation on your card will be canceled automatically.
