This Makita 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion rotary hammer kit contains a 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion rapid optimum charger, two 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0 Amp-hour battery, side handle, depth gauge and a tool case. The 1 Inch cordless hammer has an efficient Makita BL™ brushless motor to deliver up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. Motor delivers 0 to 950 RPM, 4700 BPM and 1.7 ft-lb of impact energy. Efficient brushless motor is electronically controlled for optimizing battery energy use, while assuring up to 50% longer run time per charge. Tool is jam packed with ease-of-use and efficiency features like 3-mode operation that is rotation only, hammering with rotation and hammer only. It has a large 2-finger trigger for more convenience and immense comfort. The depth adjustment guide ensures superior drilling depth accuracy. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. The rapid optimum charger effectively communicates with the battery's built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature. Variable speed trigger of rotary hammer enables user to match the speed to application for increased versatility. Tool is fitted with shock absorbent handle to protect the battery housing for extra durability.
