DEWALT Black & Yellow 2026: New Tools, Big Reveals and What’s Coming Next

DEWALT pulled out the red carpet for its Black & Yellow Creator Event to Baltimore, August 4–6, giving attendees a close look at new tools, upcoming products and the engineering happening behind the familiar yellow housings.

Some of the DEWALT tools showcased in Baltimore are already listed at Acme Tools. Others aren’t available yet. And a few things were revealed that DEWALT isn’t ready to discuss publicly.

Put it all together, and Black & Yellow 2026 offered a pretty good look at where DEWALT is heading next.

DEWALT put on a show for its new releases, and the best part is that if you’re looking to get your hands on DEWALT’s newest products right away, you don't have to wait, we've got you.

Carpenters, cabinetmakers and woodworkers, this is the Track Saw you have been waiting for. The new DEWALT 20V XR 6-1/2-Inch Track Saw is a must-have for accurate cordless cutting.

It is designed to rip solid hardwood up to 2-1/8 inches thick while making straight, repeatable cuts. DEWALT also offers configurations with two 30-inch tracks for buyers who want more of the system right out of the box.

For breaking down sheet goods, trimming doors or handling finish work, this is one of the more interesting additions to DEWALT’s woodworking lineup.

There’s also the new DEWALT 20V MAX XR 6-Inch Random Orbital Sander.

The larger 6-inch sanding platform is built with larger surfaces in mind, while variable speeds from 6,000 to 10,000 OPM provide a range of sanding applications.

Think furniture, cabinets, large panels, tabletops and other projects where there’s plenty of material between you and quitting time.

The latest XR oscillating multi-tool was also among the products shown.

This feat of engineering features a 4.2-degree oscillating angle and is designed for cutting, scraping and detail work involving materials such as wood, metal, drywall, PVC and plastic.

It’s one of those tools that rarely has just one job.

Finish carpenters have something new to look into as well.

Insert the DEWALT DCN210B 18-Gauge Brad Nailer. It can drive up to five nails per second and maneuver in difficult-to-access areas with ease.

That means for trim, molding, cabinetry and other finish work, cordless operation means one less compressor and hose to bring along.

DEWALT also put plenty of attention on metalworking.

Its existing ATOMIC fabrication lineup includes premium cordless die grinders, right-angle die grinders and cut-off tools, several of which are already available through Acme Tools.

But Black & Yellow showed that the lineup isn’t finished growing.

A new ATOMIC 2-in-1 Needle Scaler and Chisel was demonstrated in Baltimore, and firsthand event coverage also confirmed a new Sheet-Metal Nibbler.

It’s another sign of traditionally pneumatic or corded jobs moving deeper into the cordless toolbox.

Not everything shown at Black & Yellow has reached retail yet.

Here are a few items that were put on display for the public that you can expect in the not-so-distant future.

1. A new DEWALT 20V cordless palm nailer
2. New 20V MAX cordless rebar tools
3. A new XR 5Ah battery
4. A fast two-port charger with active cooling

Until DEWALT publishes complete retail information, we’ll leave it there. Model numbers, final specifications, pricing and availability can come when they’re official.

One of the more interesting displays wasn’t a single product at all.

DEWALT grouped products together to demonstrate more complete trade solutions. Plumbing equipment, for example, covered cutting, preparation and fitting, with storage incorporated alongside the tools.

For someone already invested in DEWALT, that’s important.

The value of a cordless platform grows every time another job can be handled using batteries, chargers and storage you already own.

One of the strangest pieces of equipment on display wasn’t actually a Black & Yellow reveal.

While DEWALT isn't building the Transformers or an R2 unit, its autonomous downward concrete-drilling technology was demonstrated at the event. This project was originally announced in January 2026 with August Robotics.

The system is designed for large-scale concrete drilling, particularly in data-center construction. According to DEWALT, its pilot program achieved 99.97% drilling accuracy across more than 90,000 holes. DEWALT’s original announcement provides the full details.

So DEWALT didn’t unveil a robot in Baltimore.

They just had one hanging around. Which is still pretty wild.

And apparently, we’ve still only seen part of the story.
