Look, not all of us can hop on a flight to Munich and party with the pros. But that doesn’t mean you can’t throw down your own Oktoberfest bash right here at home.
Forget the plane tickets and the massive beer halls. All you really need is your backyard, a squad of friends, some cold drinks, and a griddle loaded with bratwurst. Acme Tools doesn’t stock lederhosen (yet), but we’ve got everything else you need to make your place the next best thing to Bavaria.
Keep the Drinks Cold
The YETI Roadie 32 Wheeled Cooler gives you room for drinks and ice without forcing you to carry a heavy cooler across the yard. Its wheels and retractable handle make it easy to move wherever the party goes.
Fill it with your favorite German-style beverages, soda and water. Once everything is cold, guests can serve themselves while you focus on the food.
Get the Bratwurst Cooking
Oktoberfest without bratwurst would be like going to a baseball game and not getting a hot dog. The Blackstone 28-Inch Original Omnivore Griddle gives you a large cooking surface and two independently controlled heat zones.
That means you can cook bratwurst on one side while grilling onions, warming sauerkraut or toasting buns on the other. You can also use it for potato pancakes, burgers or breakfast the next morning.
Turn Up the Music
A good Oktoberfest party needs music. The JBL PartyBox Encore 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker offers up to 15 hours of battery life, an IPX4 splash-resistant design and a built-in light show.
Connect your phone, and start cranking that Oktoberfest playlist and let it run. It even includes a wireless microphone in case someone wants to make announcements, or attempt karaoke after a few beverages.
Give the Party Some Cover
Fall weather can change quickly. The DEWALT E-Z UP 10-Foot by 10-Foot Steel Frame Work Shelter creates a covered area for your serving table or seating.
Its water-repellent canopy and UPF 50+ protection help keep guests more comfortable when the sun is bright or a little rain shows up. Keep your hot griddle safely outside and away from the shelter. Plus, you'll have a tent ready for you next tailgate!
