Use the gear and clutch components of the Milwaukee® 100-Foot Bold Line (Bare Tool) to chalk-mark layout lines. The planetary gear system, adapted from power-tool applications, lets layout professionals extend and retract the line fluidly. The Milwaukee 100-foot bold-line chalk reel has a fast retraction ratio of 6:1. The StripGuard™ clutch system maintains the functionality of the gear system. The turning handle of the Milwaukee jobsite chalk reel has a push-button release. The release easily flips out the handle for layout marking. The handle then folds up flush against the body for convenient belt storage between tasks. The Milwaukee chalk reel has a tightly braided, abrasion-resistant corded line. The line leaves clear and vivid chalk marks. A rubber overmold notched body frame gives you a firm grip surface.
