The Makita 40 Volt Max XGT® cordless driver drill tool only features Makita built brushless motor that delivers 1,250 Inch-lb of maximum torque, maximum versatility and performance for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. It has two speed settings that optimizes speed from 0 to 650 and 0 to 2,600 RPM and offers up to 35% faster drilling speed compared to Makita's 18 Volt LXT cordless 1/2 Inch hammer driver drill. Tool with ultra-smooth variable speed trigger, has an electronic digital clutch that accurately targets desired torque range. Active Feedback-Sensing Technology of this tool turns Off the motor when rotation of the accessory is suddenly forced to stop. Driver drill has Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) that helps to deliver increased dust and water resistance in harsh job site conditions. Tool is integrated with metal gear housing for increased job site durability. This driver drill delivers high power to take on high demand applications allowing users to transition to a cordless job site. It is suitable for the most demanding drilling and driving applications in wood, masonry and metal. This tool out powers other driver drills in heavy load applications.
