The Makita couple shaft power head kit includes 40 Volt max XGT® brushless power head, 17 Inch string trimmer couple shaft attachment, 40 Volt max XGT® 4.0 Amp-Hours battery and 40 Volt max XGT® rapid optimum charger. Power head runs on a powerful brushless motor that delivers power of a 30 CC gas string trimmer. The three-speed options ensure that it runs at 4200 RPM low, 6000 RPM medium and 7100 RPM high speed. It can be used with various Makita couple shaft attachments based on application requirements. Lever style lock system allows you to quickly replace attachments and install tools in no time. Reverse rotation system ensures operator to quickly clear trimmer head of entangled grass and weeds. The digital communication within XGT® optimizes performance offering up to 2X longer sustained power under heavy-load applications. The included Lithium-Ion battery reaches to full charge in just 45 minutes or less. XGT® rapid charger comes with digital display to indicate exact charging status. XGT® battery feature rigid rails with impact-resistant construction that secure the battery to the tool during high-demand applications.
