The Makita 40V max XGT® Brushless Backpack Blower (GBU04) delivers powerful, gas-equivalent performance with less weight, lower noise, and zero emissions. Designed to perform like a 65cc gas-powered backpack blower, the GBU04 delivers up to 32N of blowing force and 675 CFM for fast, efficient cleanup. Weighing under 20 lbs. with batteries, it is up to 23% lighter than comparable gas-powered models with a full tank, helping reduce operator fatigue. The blower is also up to 65% quieter than competing 65cc gas models. A dual-battery system automatically switches to the second XGT® battery for extended runtime, while the variable-speed trigger provides precise airflow control. The telescoping nozzle adjusts quickly for ground-level applications. Additional features include cruise control, tool-less handle adjustment, LED status indicators, two power modes, and a padded shoulder harness. Powered by Makita XGT® technology, the GBU04 delivers high power, durability, and cordless convenience for demanding applications. “Bare Tools” are sold without batteries or chargers, making them ideal for users who already own compatible power sources.
