Reverse (clockwise) rotation system of power head facilitates operator to clear brush cutter head of entangled grass and weeds quickly. Power head has Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), a protective seal inside the tool. This technology increases tool life and operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against overloading, over-discharging and overheating.
