This Makita 18 Volt high-torque square drive impact wrench has 3/4 Inch anvil with friction ring and thru hole retention system for increased productivity. Tool delivers enhanced fastening control that is perfect for a iron and steel workers to pipe fitters, railroad and automotive mechanics, forming carpenters and many more. It is precisely designed to provide increased run time, power as well as speed control for unmatched performance. This wrench has a Makita-built brushless motor, which offers 780 ft-lb of fastening torque and 1250 ft-lb of break-away torque. User can achieve precise fastening control through the 3-speed power selection switch that is 0-900/0-1000/0-1800 RPM and 0-1800/0-2000/0-2200 IPM. This electronically-controlled BL™ brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application. It features easy to operate forward/reverse switch and electric brake for maximum productivity. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Wrench has built-in LED light with an independent On/Off switch to illuminate the work area. The rapid optimum charger effectively communicates with the battery's built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature.
