Makita 18V LXT 9in Drywall Sander Kit

The Makita brushless cordless 9 Inch drywall sander kit contains a drywall sander, two 18 Volt batteries, charger, backing pad, hex wrench and a round abrasive disc. Sander has a lightweight design and the direct-drive brushless motor is placed at the sanding head for enhanced efficiency. Round brush design provides optimum dust extraction with minimal leakage. Extension pipe can be adjusted easily that helps the user to work in confined spaces. Auto start wireless system makes use of Bluetooth to initiate wireless communication between the tool and dust extractor. The 18 Volt 5 Amp-Hours battery offers a runtime of 35 minutes and the variable speed dial operates at a speed rating of 1000 to 1800 RPM. Constant speed control gives added power to the motor to help maintain constant speed under heavy loads. Flexible head provides operational flexibility and the brushless motor removes any carbon brushes for efficient operation. Removable dust brush helps in the cleaning of any dust caused by the flush-to-corner edge sanding. Soft start mechanism helps in the smooth starting of the sander to maintain a longer gear life. A sensor is provided to indicate the user in case of any excessive load is applied. Two-finger trigger switch has a lock-on mechanism for uninterrupted usage. Soft rubber grip on the handle reduces user fatigue and provides good operational comfort. The large carrying bag and the tool facilitates smooth transportation. Extreme protection technology ensures good resistance to dust and water in harsh environments. STAR protection control mechanism helps in the prevention of overloading, overcharging and overheating. Dual fan design of the charger keeps the air flow constant to the batteries to enhance the charging levels. The charger makes use of a built-in chip to constantly communicate with the battery to monitor the voltage, current and temperature. Digital display indicates the charge level of the battery.
