This Makita 18 Volt Lithium-Ion cordless impact driver tool has a Makita-built 4-pole motor with innovative 4-brush design that offers superior RPM without decreasing torque. Tool is specially designed to deliver variable speed of 0 to 2900 RPM/0 to 3500 IPM and 1460 Inch-lb of torque for various fastening applications. Tool featuring all metal gear housing increases durability in harsh environmental conditions. The 5-3/8 Inch long compact tool weighs only 2.8 lb with battery, which minimizes operator fatigue and assures superior ergonomics. It comes with one-touch 1/4 Inch hex chuck for quick bit changes. Dual LED lights with afterglow effectively illuminate the work area for use in dark spaces and close quarters. Impact driver has ergonomically designed handle with rubberized soft grip for enhanced comfort. Driver tool featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This tool works well with Makita 18 Volt Lithium-Ion batteries with a Star symbol.
