Nails for finish work are the narrowest gauge options from Bostitch, one step up from a full line of Bostitch staples. The finish nails consist of 18-gauge brads and 23-gauge headless pins. Bostitch nails then move all the way up in size to 6-inch framing nails. Nails come in both straight-pin packages, including collated and wire-weld strips, and coil packages. Bostitch coil nails consist of a variety of smooth, screw or ring shanks, as well as diamond, blunt and chisel point tips.
Bostitch framing nails include 15-degree stainless-steel or galvanized nails with either diamond or blunt chisel points. Framing nails also include 21-degree plastic-collated nails, hot-dipped or coated, as well as 28-degree wire-weld, coated galvanized nails. Other framing nails include paper collated metal connector nails for metal materials and smooth-shank T-nails for fastening wood to concrete.
Standard Bostitch roofing nails consist of 15-degree smooth-shank nails with a galvanized finish. These nails come in coil packages. Bostitch coil nails also include 15-degree siding nails consisting of ring shanks with an extra-thick coating to accommodate contraction and expansion. Like Bostitch roofing nails, the siding nails have diamond points to prevent splitting fastening material.
