The Bosch GKE18V-20 18V 8 In. Pruning Saw delivers the power needed to cut tree limbs, branches, and shrubs without the hassle of cords. Equipped with an 8 In. bar for wide cuts, a brushless motor delivering 23.6 ft/s chain speed, and variable speed control for more precise cutting, this pruning saw is built for fast, efficient performance. Get up to 350 cuts per charge with a CORE18V® 4 Ah battery (sold separately) when cutting 2”x2” pressure-treated wood. A convenient, easy-to-use toolless tension system allows for efficient chain adjustments, while the automatic oiling system helps keep the bar and chain lubricated for smooth, low-maintenance operation. Smart features further support user control, including kickback detection that helps stop the chain during sudden tool reaction and end-of-cut detection that engages the chain brake when rapid downward movement is sensed. A guide bar sheath is included for added protection during storage. Its lightweight, ergonomic design makes it easy to tackle hard-to-reach areas, ideal for pruning and limbing thicker branches.
