These SAE Budd wheel impact sockets can loosen and tighten wheel nuts with a ball seat and where the wheel has beveled bolt holes, typically found on buses and large trucks having a set of dual wheels on the rear axle. The inner wheel on a set of dual wheels is held on by a stud that has a square drive that goes over the stud on the hub. The outer wheel is held to the inner wheel by a conventional lug nut that goes on the stud that holds the inner wheel to the hub.
