The 3-5/8-inch throat depth, combined with a jaw-opening capacity of 0-12-inches provides superior holding power for a myriad of objects. This C-Clamp tool is part of the 540A series of Wilton C-Clamps that feature black oxide coated frames crafted from high-strength, ductile cast iron making them the heaviest-duty clamp in the lineup of woodworking C-Clamps from Wilton Tools. The heavy-duty construction combined with the single acme thread rolled, vise-type, sliding pin handle allows for the effortless application of up to 2850 pounds of pressure. The socket tip and oscillating ball provide a secure hold to a variety of surfaces.
