The U2 Fasteners S20103125H is a heavy-duty structural construction screw designed for timber construction as an alternative to traditional lag screws. Its dome head with Talon Grip provides an enlarged bearing surface that helps clamp connected materials securely and resist loosening. A Tight Star recess is designed to hold the T-30 drive bit firmly, supporting wobble-free, one-handed installation. The innovative Tapper Point uses a corkscrew-style start and cutting threads to quickly penetrate wood without requiring a pre-drilled pilot hole in compatible applications. A reamer thread enlarges the passage through the upper material while drawing structural components tightly together, helping reduce friction along the screw shank and improve material engagement. The screw measures 3-1/8 Inch in length and uses a 5/16 gauge specification.
