For safety reasons, before each flight, we hand-pumped water from each float chamber, oftentimes while balancing on the narrow walkway. And for what seems like an eternity, we pump and pump and pump until the water stops flowing. Imagine if something could make the float water removal process more simple, faster, and safer. Well, you can stop imagining it because it is possible with the Turbo Float Pump! When attached to a properly sized cordless drill, the Turbo Float Pump makes short work of algae and debris in the float tubes and then finishes by removing any remaining water. And all this at over 5 gallons a minute! The filter is designed to stop invasive species as small as 20 microns from exiting the pump and invading new waterways. This kit includes two invasive species eco water filters (Part # ISF), DCD800D1E1 20V XR COMPACT DRILL DRIVER, one DCBP034 DEWALT POWERSTACK™ battery, one DCB203 20V MAX 2Ah battery, charger, belt hook, and kit bag.

Recommend to use with 18V or greater cordless drill that can spin at least 2000 rpm. DEWALT DCD800D1E1 Drill Kit included.

Kodiak hand strap included to help keep Seaplane Float Pump and drill from falling into the water

Special adaptor included that when inserted into the silicon nozzle allows the user to connect the pump to a traditional garden hose for non-flammable fluid removal. Garden hose sold separately.

Brace included to fit DEWALT DCD800D1E1 Compact Drill

Additional universal brace included to fit most drills that you can adjust to fit your specific drill. (Drilling required for adjustment)

This is a masterfully machined water pump and the one thing you cannot do is run it dry for more than 30 seconds. Therefore, when you clearly have emptied a float chamber or it was dry, to begin with, put the pump nozzle back in the water and re-prime briefly to cool it off.
