I can’t really tell but would those battery storage slots only work for Milwaukee batteries? I imagine so but that would be pretty sweet if I could drop in some of my dewalt, metabo or even makita batteries.

Hello. No, the Milwaukee 48-22-8029 attachment-ready tray will not fit inside a standard Packout crate. The tray measures 19.8 inches wide by 13.1 inches deep, whereas the internal dimensions of the standard Packout crate (48-22-8440) are only 16 inches wide by 13 inches deep.
