String Trimming Made Easy! Are you one of the millions of people who absolutely dread weedeating, or string trimming? The Midigator is here to make that annoyingly unpleasant task more enjoyable and comfortable. The Midigator works by changing the weight distribution of the string trimmer. It directs the weight of the trimmer upwards and distributes it throughout your arm and upper body. This change in force allows you to stand up straighter resulting in decreased back pain and fatigue. Depending on the weight of the string trimmer and your personal strength, you can actually use the trimmer with one hand! The Midigator has 4 different points of adjustment that can be changed in a matter of seconds. These 4 points of adjustment include: one adjustment on the joint from the clamp to the lower portion of the shaft, a slide for shaft length adjustment, another on the joint from the upper portion of the shaft to the arm cuff, and one adjustment on the cuff itself allowing rotation for left or right handed users. The Midigator is also designed to fit almost any make and model of trimmer by supplying different size clamps to fit your specific unit.

Hello Elisabeth. The Midigator Trimmer Arm Support is mainly designed to work with traditional D-Handle trimmers while the DEWATL DCST981 series trimmer is a 2-Hand Bike Handle design. We would not recommend using this product on a bike handle trimmer but it is up to you. The fitment requirements of the handle are shown on the 4th image and if your trimmer complies, you may try it but is sounds like the balance will not be ideal for long term use.
