This shear features a precision-machined high-density polymer table, a movable fence for both 45° and 90° angle cuts, and metal-jacketed bearings for durability. Sorry not sure if this is the correct page for a question? I just want you know if I can cut a plank on this cutter similar to ripping a piece of wood. Thank you for all the responses.

Hi Eric, if you are looking to rip a small piece of LVT or an Engineered Laminate, you can, but you need to remember that it has to fit under the blade, so the longest piece you can 'rip' is 13".
