Is this compatible with Delta 36-979 10" Left-Tilt Contractor's saw? I believe that the part number is A06327.

Hi Paul. The information we have is that the 36-861 is only for Left Tile Unisaws and will not fit Contractor's Saws. We are also showing the A06327 is discontinued so you may want to look into an aftermarket insert.

What are the dimensions of the 36-861 table-saw insert that is being sold here?

There is lots of conflicting information about the inserts for various models and generations of Delta Table Saws. The use of standard/dado/molding/zero-clearance adds another parameter. It seems that only the standard insert is compatible with the Delta Blade-Guard/Splitter/Anti-Kickback-Pawl Assembly for the Contractor's saw. The aftermarket zero-clearance solutions do not appear to be compatible with that safety feature.
