Metabo MHE 5 SDS MAX Chipping Hammer with Electronics

The Metabo MHE 5, SDS-MAX Chipping Hammer is German engineered for maximum productivity, durability and safety for extreme-duty use on renovation, construction and industrial work sites. The high efficiency 9.6 Amp motor is encapsulated to protect against harsh dust particles and combined with the extreme duty impact mechanism delivers powerful chiseling with 7.1 Joules (EPTA) and 3000 blows per minute. Metabo VibraTech (MVT) Technology provides ultimate user comfort utilizing a decoupled vibration-absorbing rear handle. The Metabo VC electronics package maintains the number of blows, even under heavy loads, thermal overload protection, soft start, and power interruption protection. An LED status light glows green when the tool is energized, and the service indicator LED will start flashing 8 working hours prior to the carbon brushes needing replacement. The tool also features a heavy duty die-cast aluminum gear-housing creating an extremely stable design and heat dissipation for long service life. The easily accessible lock-on switch for ease when chiseling continuously, and thumb wheel for precise speed/impact energy control offer user comfort and precision. The MHE 5 is compatible with the Metabo ESA-MAX Dust Extraction Set (623271000 - sold separately).

Hi Lawrence. This Hammer will accept all brands SDS Max, Hilti TE-Y, and TE-YX chisels.
