Makita 18V X2 (36V) LXT Power Head with String Trimmer Attachment Lithium Ion Brushless Cordless Couple Shaft (Bare Tool)

The Makita 36 Volt couple shaft power head tool with string trimmer couple shaft attachment, is a great cordless alternative to gas-powered outdoor power equipment and is a welcome solution for a range of trimming and cutting applications. Power head is perfect for landscapers and contractors for most demanding applications. Head has powerful BL™ brushless motor to deliver up to 7100 RPM for faster cutting. It offers 3-speed options that are 4200 RPM (low), 6000 RPM (medium) and 7100 RPM (high) for power management. Power head works well with a variety of Makita couple shaft attachments for various applications. The lever style lock system assists for rapid tool-less installation and replacement of attachments. Reverse (clockwise) rotation system of power head facilitates operator to clear brush cutter head of entangled grass and weeds quickly. Power head has Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), a protective seal inside the tool. This technology increases tool life and operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. Tool works well with Makita 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries. Power head assures zero emission and minimal maintenance.

Hello. The information we have received from Makita is that this item has the Bump & Feed Trimmer Head, M10 X 1.25 LH (198892-0), and not a rapid-load trimmer head.
