The Acme Tools Podcast returned for its eighth episode, and it did not disappoint. This week, Dave and Zach were joined by their boss, Emma, as they covered a wide range of topics.
This was Emma’s first appearance on the podcast, but you’ve probably seen her in a few videos on the Acme Tools social media accounts. She is the Digital Media Strategist at Acme Tools, which includes managing our Social Media.
Emma has deep ties to Acme Tools, her great-grandfather, George Kuhlman, founded the company in 1948. As a kid, she grew up coming to the office and attending company events, such as the yearly picnic. In 2023, she officially joined the Acme Tools team.
Big Iron
A few weeks ago, Dave and Zach attended the Big Iron Farm and Construction Show at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo.
Acme had the best of the best on display in their tent.
“In the back, they have different tool demos you can try out,” Zach said.
Acme also brought out its newest mini bucket collection featuring Milwaukee, DEWALT, Generac, Bosch, STIHL, Klein Tools and Gearwrench.
“We did a red Milwaukee mini bucket a couple of months ago, and it sold out,” Emma said. “Everyone went crazy over it, so we were like, 'Hey, let's make more brands,’ so we got some other brands on board for the mini buckets and made a couple more.”
tool unboxing
After sitting in the garage for about a month, it was finally time to unbox one of the newest items added to the Acme Tools catalog, SOLA XPL Extendable Plate Level, 63 to 144 Inch Extension.
This thing is a beast, reaching all the way up to the garage ceiling. Extending from 63 to 144 inches for accurate measurements across tall framing and wide spans, this product has a ton of different applications, and the best part is, you don’t have to worry about hauling around several different levels
new tools and products releasing
Milwaukee has continued to release its premier products that were showcased at its Pipeline event in August. The most recent releases include:
- Milwaukee M18 FUEL 3/4 Inch High Torque Impact Wrench with ONE-KEY
- Milwaukee M18 FUEL 4 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum with PACKOUT Compatibility & VACLINK
Another exciting announcement is that in mid-2027, SawStop will release a new bandsaw. “Their safety system, Sensic Active safety, the bandsaw will stop in under 5 milliseconds, so before you finish blinking your eye if something comes in contact with it,” Emma said.
Dave, Zach and Emma also hit on some of the new Bosch tools that were recently released.
a cpr baby
In the market for a CPR baby, no worries because Acme Tools has one in stock, and yes, if you might be confused, Zach was too when Emma and Dave showed him this.
This isn’t your average baby doll. The Brayden PRO Baby uses Bluetooth technology to provide real-time feedback on compressions and ventilations, helping instructors and students improve their pediatric CPR technique.
The Tabasco Pepper Challenge
Yes, you read it correctly, there were Tabasco Peppers on the podcast, grown by our very own Rahn Ford. Zach and David tried it. Want to see if they survived? Watch till the end of the newest Acme Tools Podcast!
