If you have been following our blog recently, you have probably seen the last two Sunex service carts that dropped. Both look amazing and bring plenty of useful storage to the shop.
That being said, maybe neither design does it for you. Well, don’t worry, because there is a third.
The Sunex 39-Inch 6-Drawer Service Cart with the Tony Squindo Speed Demon Design brings an old-school hot-rod look to a cart built for actual work.
meet the Speed Demon
The design is what immediately separates this cart from the other two. Its black cabinet is covered in Tony Squindo artwork featuring a classic hot rod, an exposed engine and plenty of speed-inspired details. Open the lid, and the Sunex artwork continues underneath.
It looks like something that belongs in a custom automotive shop. Honestly, it would look just as good sitting in the garage next to your project car.
However, this is not just a cool graphic placed on an ordinary cabinet.
Built for Real Shop Work
The cart is constructed from 18-gauge, 1.2 mm steel and supports up to 600 pounds. That gives any professional technicians, mechanics and serious DIYers enough capacity for a substantial tool collection.
Its main features include:
- Six locking drawers for sockets, wrenches, ratchets and other equipment
- Reinforced ball-bearing slides for smooth, full-extension drawer access
- Premium latching handles that help keep drawers securely closed
- A locking hinged lid with gas shocks for easier opening
- Built-in holders for organizing pry bars and screwdrivers
- Protective bumpers around all four sides
- Four swivel casters, including two locking casters
- A handle that can be mounted on either side
The drawers also come in several depths. The first three are 3 inches deep, the next two measure 4 inches deep and the bottom drawer provides 5 inches of depth for larger tools.
How Does It Compare to the Other Sunex Carts?
The Grand Prix Juic’d BOX is the biggest and most feature-packed of the three. It measures approximately 50 inches wide, includes seven drawers and adds integrated outlets for charging tools and devices. It is a full mobile workstation for someone with a larger collection and plenty of equipment to keep powered.
The lime-green Ctoolu cart uses a similar 39-inch, six-drawer format to the Speed Demon. The biggest difference is the personality. Ctoolu goes bright, loud and slightly wild. The Speed Demon takes the vintage racing route with a black cabinet and classic hot-rod artwork.
If you don’t need the larger powered setup and the lime-green design is not your thing, the Speed Demon lands right in the middle. It gives you professional storage, a more manageable footprint and artwork made for anyone who appreciates old-school cars.
Give Your Shop Some Personality
Most service carts are bland and boring and usually just blend into your shop. This one definitely does not.
The Sunex Speed Demon Service Cart gives mechanics and automotive enthusiasts six locking drawers, a 600-pound capacity and smooth shop mobility without looking like every other black cabinet in the building.
If your tools need a proper home and your garage could use a little hot-rod attitude, this might be the Sunex cart you have been waiting for.
