Milwaukee NITRUS Carbide Circular Saw Blade: Fast, Straight Cuts from Demo to Frame

Milwaukee NITRUS Carbide Circular Saw Blade: Fast, Straight Cuts from Demo to Frame

A circular saw blade can cut quickly when it is new. The bigger test is whether it can maintain that performance after running into nails, screws, shingles, and other materials during demolition.

Milwaukee’s new 6-1/2-Inch 24T NITRUS Carbide Blade is for the crew that wants to move fast but still look like they know what they’re doing. This thing chews up old demo material, then jumps right into fresh lumber without making you stop and swap blades.

Built for Fast, Controlled Cuts

The blade uses welded carbide teeth designed to stay sharp through demanding framing and demolition applications. Its thin-kerf design removes less material per pass, helping the blade cut more quickly and efficiently.

Cool-cutting diamond vents help reduce heat buildup as the blade moves through material. Limiting that heat helps the blade remain stable and produce straighter, more controlled cuts throughout its life.

With 24 teeth, this blade is made for fast jobsite cutting in framing and demolition applications. It balances cutting speed with the control needed to move between rough demolition work and clean wood cutting.

One Blade from Demo to Frame

Milwaukee designed the NITRUS Carbide blade for more than standard dimensional lumber. It can be used to cut:

  1. Softwoods and hardwoods
  2. Wet and treated lumber
  3. Wood containing nails or screws
  4. Asphalt shingles
  5. Plywood and OSB
  6. Engineered lumber, including LVL, PSL, LSL, and OSL

That versatility allows contractors and remodelers to move from demolition into framing without immediately reaching for another blade.

Milwaukee states that the blade can handle more than 400 nails, 50 screws, and 120 feet of shingles. Those durability claims, combined with the welded carbide teeth, make it a strong option for renovation and demolition work where hidden fasteners are common.
