Tekton 11 Inch Swivel Pad Locking Clamp

Tekton locking pliers and C-clamps are ideal for clamping and holding together a variety of materials including flat stock, L-angle, and sheet metal. Access areas with limited clearance where a standard C-clamp might not fit. The reduced height also makes the clamp more stable, reducing the chance of slipping or shifting. The rectangular swivel pads are more compact than round ones, offering focused clamping pressure. Their narrow shape clamps smaller pieces and fits into tighter spaces, while the soft, knurled texture ensures a secure grip. Easily set, release, and reposition the clamp with one hand and with more control than a traditional pinch-style lever. The adjustment knob is knurled and round to provide grip for making adjustments even when you're wearing gloves or have slippery hands. Get extra leverage and fine-tune your clamping force by inserting a screwdriver or hex key into the through-hole to create a T-handle. Before assembly, the individual jaw, handle, lever, and crossbar parts are shot-peened to create smooth, consistent surfaces. The final finish is a durable nickel plating that protects against corrosion. Clamping force at the jaws directly depends on the strength and integrity of the clamp's three main rivets, which together make up the 4-point mechanical structure of the clamps. To make sure ours can withstand high shear forces, these rivets are made from tough 4135 chrome molybdenum steel.
