Tekton 10 mm 3/8 Inch Drive Long Ball End Hex Socket

The Tekton SHB13810 is a 10 mm, 3/8 Inch drive long ball end hex bit socket designed to improve access to fasteners in narrow and recessed locations. Its ball end operates at up to a 20-degree angle, providing additional access flexibility while maintaining sufficient strength for compatible fastening applications. The long bit extends four inches beyond standard-length Tekton bit sockets, helping reach fasteners positioned deeper within assemblies. The S2 steel bit is heat-treated to 57–63 HRC for resistance to shock and deformation, while the 6140 chromium-vanadium socket body is heat-treated to 40.5–47.5 HRC for durable service. The bit is pressed directly into the socket for a permanent connection, helping prevent loosening under stress. Chrome plating provides corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. Large stamped markings support quick size identification, while detent grooves and beveled edges provide secure drive-tool engagement.
