Supermax Tools 37x2 5HP 230V 1PH Double Drum Sander

The SuperMax 37x2 Double Drum Sander features INTELLISAND technology, which monitors material grain and hardness and adjusts the feed speed to prevent surface gouging or burning. Its dual-drum design lets you apply two different grits in a single pass, speeding up the sanding process. The SuperMax 37x2 double drum sander uses 220V single-phase electricity to power a variable speed conveyor motor that produces 100 inch-pounds of torque and a 5-horsepower TEFC drum motor. The sanding drums run at 1740 rpm and are self-cooling, which reduces abrasive wear. The SuperMax variable-speed drum sander has a precision-flattened and reinforced steel conveyor bed that has 0.01 inches or less variance. This ensures all sanding passes are consistent and accurate. An abrasive conveyor belt secures each piece of stock as it moves beneath the sanding drums, allowing you to work with very small parts. This SuperMax 220V drum sander also has an integrated metal dust hood with three 4-inch vacuum ports.
