The Al Mar Knives AMKSHARPUSA 4 Inch Diamond Carbide Field Sharpener provides compact, portable sharpening performance for shop, camp, field, and everyday knife maintenance. Manufactured in the USA, the sharpener combines micronized monocrystalline diamond surfaces with two sharpening grits for restoring and refining blade edges. The 45 micron/325 mesh coarse surface quickly restores dull or neglected edges, while the 25 micron/600 mesh fine surface hones a sharper finished edge. An integrated leather strop provides a final polishing step to refine the edge after sharpening. The compact 4 Inch x 7/8 Inch x 1/4 Inch design saves pack space while supporting full-size sharpening performance, and the diamond carbide construction can sharpen ceramic blades as well as conventional knife materials. The sharpener can be used dry or with water, eliminating the need for sharpening oils. A genuine leather sheath provides portable storage and includes an external strop surface, making the system convenient for hunters, campers, tradespeople, and everyday users who need dependable edge maintenance away from a workshop.
