It features an advanced STIHL M-Tronic™ 3.0 system for maximum efficiency in changing conditions. The FS 361 C-EM is available as a brushcutter, making it perfect for cutting and thinning heavy growth. This brushcutter is ideal for use in forestry, municipal, and farm and ranch jobs that require efficiency and heavy-duty power. To aid comfort and achieve optimal control, the vibration level is reduced in partial load operation. The new large deflector design allows for a larger cutting swath than the previous model, and a durable clutch housing rounds out the design to make the FS 361 C-EM a great all-around tool for professional use.

A powerful, low-emission engine saves users fuel and operating costs without sacrificing the power they need to get the job done. A lined shaft provides smooth operation and less vibration.

The STIHL Easy2Start™ system makes starting STIHL outdoor power tools almost effortless, eliminating the need for a strong pull of the starting cord. This advanced starting system is designed to make starting STIHL products fast and easy.

The STIHL M-Tronic™ system intelligently manages the operating performance of the engine. Equipment performance can be affected by a dirty air filter, changes in elevation, or poor fuel quality. The STIHL M-Tronic™ system compensates for these factors by eliminating the low and high-speed carburetor adjustment screws and electronically monitoring the engine, and digitally controlling the fuel/air mixture.

When used in conjunction with a harness, the bike handle allows the machine to be easily guided, enabling a smooth horizontal mowing action to cover large areas quickly and efficiently. With soft grips for increased comfort, the bike handle provides greater control and helps reduce operator fatigue.

Having easy access to all of the controls on one comfortable handle makes it easy to complete tasks so the operator's hand never has to leave the handle, Air Filter Cover - Easily remove the cover for fast and easy filter cleaning or replacement.

The central wing nut enables easy adjustment without the use of tools. For transportation and space-saving storage, the handle can be rotated 90 degrees.

Large baffles reduce noise levels and contain a screen designed to reduce spark emissions. The spark plug is protected yet easy to change.

The choke is protected to help prevent damage. High-tech polymer housings are lightweight, withstand greater impact, and are corrosion-resistant.

Centrifugal clutch is designed to reduce slippage. By pressing the bulb, this small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburetor, reducing the number of starting pulls needed after an extended break between uses.

Easily check the fuel level before starting work with the translucent fuel tank. If fuel is needed, the upright position makes the tank easier to fill.
