These Alumina Cut discs are made specifically for working with aluminum. Made with a treated, high-performance, aluminum oxide abrasive grain, these discs provide cool grinding while preventing loading-ideal for working with materials that require a special finish. Premium closed coat blue zirconia flap discs. Backing is made from non-flexible consumable fiberglass with a conical Type 27 face or with a flat plastic back. A universal abrasive product designed for the surface treatment of unalloyed or low-alloyed steels, the 2824 siaflap flap disc with zirconia corundum and robust cloth backing provides high stock removal rates and long life. A further advantage: consistent surface quality until the abrasive is completely worn.
