The Makita 18 Volt LXT® cordless router features Makita built BL™ brushless motor that delivers faster and more accurate cuts, maximum versatility and performance for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. It has variable speed control dial that optimizes the speed from 10,000 to 30,000 RPM and allows users to match speed to the application. Tool features smooth rack-and-pinion fine depth adjustment system that offers more precise settings. Router has X2 LXT® technology that delivers 380 ft of cutting performance in red oak using a 1/4 Inch straight bit. Tool features On/Off button with separate lock button that helps to prevent accidental start-up of the tool. Router with battery has rubberized grip that provides increased comfort on the job. Tool with dual LED lights, is great for working in dark area. Aluminum housing and base makes this tool durable and accurate in the jobsites. Soft starting of this router suppresses the start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and better accuracy. Tool powered by an 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide style battery assures fastest charge time, more working time and minimal sitting time on the charger. Sander featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This Star Protection communication technology also monitors condition while in use to safeguard against overloading, over discharging and overheating.

XTR01Z includes the Makita cordless brushless router bare tool, fence, two spanner wrenches, and two guides for tamplate use. Batteries and charger are sold separately.
