The Safety Speed 7400XL is a heavy-duty vertical panel saw designed for precise panel processing in professional woodworking, fabrication, contractor, and production environments. Operating at 230V with a 2 HP single-phase configuration, it provides a 64 Inch maximum crosscut capacity and a 2.125 Inch depth of cut. Rigid beams and a rugged welded steel frame provide stability for accurate cutting, while the patented MID-WAY Fence supports consistent material positioning. The 7400XL features 28 material rollers to help move panels smoothly and an integrated automated length-measuring system for efficient dimensional control. A dual V-track precision guide system supports controlled saw movement, while the floating pressure saw foot helps maintain workpiece contact. Quick-change functionality allows efficient transitions between vertical and horizontal cutting, and adjustable rulers simplify setup. The machine is dust-collection ready and supports optional material scoring and automated measuring enhancements.
