The Safety Speed WBS4375203 43 Inch x 75 Inch Wide Belt Sander is built for high-capacity sanding and finishing in professional woodworking environments. Powered by a 15 HP three-phase 208/230V motor, this machine combines substantial sanding power with a wide 43-inch working capacity. Its 75-inch abrasive belt provides more sanding surface than 60-inch belt machines, helping increase capacity while reducing heat accumulation, maintenance demands, and belt replacement frequency. Photoelectric belt tracking and pneumatic belt tensioning support consistent abrasive positioning and operation. A graphite-covered felt pad and adjustable platen provide controlled finishing across different material requirements. Rubber-covered pinch rollers and machined idler rollers help maintain smooth workpiece movement, while the rubber-covered contact roller supports effective sanding contact. Four 1-inch ACME-threaded jackscrews provide stable conveyor adjustment, complemented by height indicators. Five emergency stops and a 6-inch internal dust chute support safer, cleaner operation.
