The Safety Speed WBS4375101 43 Inch x 75 Inch Wide Belt Sander is designed for demanding woodworking operations requiring broad sanding capacity and consistent finishing performance. Its 10 HP single-phase 220V motor powers a 43-inch-wide sanding system with a 75-inch abrasive belt, providing substantially more abrasive surface than 60-inch belt machines. The larger belt can support increased capacity while helping reduce heat accumulation, maintenance requirements, and belt replacement frequency. Photoelectric belt tracking and pneumatic belt tensioning help maintain consistent sanding performance. A graphite-covered felt pad with adjustable platen provides controlled finishing, while rubber-covered pinch and contact rollers help guide workpieces through the machine. Four 1-inch ACME-threaded jackscrews support stable conveyor table adjustment, with dual height indicators aiding setup accuracy. Five emergency stops and a 6-inch internal dust chute support safer, cleaner operation, while the 3-year warranty adds ownership support.
