The Safety Speed WBS3760153 37 Inch x 60 Inch Wide Belt Sander provides a robust sanding solution for professional woodworking and production environments. Its 15 HP three-phase 208/230V motor delivers the power required for demanding material removal and finishing applications. Photoelectric belt tracking helps keep the abrasive belt aligned, while pneumatic belt tensioning supports consistent operation. A removable 2 1/2 Inch platen provides adaptable sanding performance, complemented by dual height adjustment indicators for controlled setup. Two rubber-covered pinch rollers and a rubber-covered contact roller help guide workpieces smoothly through the sanding system. The conveyor table is mounted on four 3/4 Inch ACME-threaded jackscrews to provide stable height adjustment. Five emergency stops support quick access to machine shutdown controls, while a 6 Inch internal dust chute helps manage sanding debris. A 3/4 HP conveyor motor supports material movement, and the included 3-year warranty adds long-term ownership support.
