Rock Tamers 10 Inch Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Heat Shield

The Rock Tamers RT231 Heavy Duty Heat Shield helps protect rubber mudflaps from excessive exhaust temperatures on vehicles with rear-facing exhaust systems. Its stainless steel construction provides a durable barrier that deflects heat away from the mudflap, allowing closer positioning around the exhaust area. A unique standoff design works with ceramic washers to create separation between the hot exhaust gases and rubber mudflap material. The 10 Inch shield can be positioned where needed to accommodate different installation requirements and towing configurations. Stainless steel components provide resistance to corrosion for dependable outdoor use. The kit includes one heat shield, four M6 star pin steel bolts, four ceramic washers, eight M6 steel washers, four M6 steel and nylon nuts, and one steel wrench. English, Spanish, and French instructions are included for installation guidance. This accessory is designed as an add-on and does not include the Rock Tamers system or mudflap.
