RIKON Z3 Lathe Chuck & Jaw - Direct Thread

The Z3 - 4-jaw chuck kit is the perfect wood lathe accessory for turning bowls, platters, spindles and decorative pieces. The 4-jaw self-centering chuck is CNC precision-made from high tensile steel with a geared jaw system for easy operation and excellent project holding power. Improved design of the chuck sliders gives added strength for attaching a variety of available jaw set accessories. Meticulously machined chuck body and internal gearing system operates flawlessly for reliable closing and opening operation with the included special chuck key. The Z3 chuck has a direct threaded 1" x 8TPI body for immediate mounting on lathes. Kit includes a 50mm, 2" jaw set, wood screw RH, chuck key, T-handle T-20 wrench, 3mm hex wrench and instructions. For use on lathes with a 10-14" swing. Z3 chuck is a 3.5" diameter with pre-machined 1"x8TPI body. This lightweight and small chuck diameter is ideal for use on smaller lathes. Ideal for holding bowl or spindle/tenon projects. Use Z3 to hold small bowl or other lightweight projects for turning. Sharp threads cut into wood for best holding power. Requires a pilot hole bored in the wood before installation.
