Use the Ridgid® #5 48-inch Strap Wrench when you need to work with polished chrome or delicate surfaces. This tool is appropriate for chrome-plated fixtures and pipes, light fixtures, exposed conduit and more. You may even find the Ridgid strap wrench useful for some automotive applications. The woven, durable polyurethane-coated nylon strap fits tightly to surfaces you don't want to scratch or damage during installation or removal for repairs. The 18-inch handle gives you plenty of clearance to protect other surfaces. Replacement straps are available for this Ridgid strap wrench. The total strap length is 48 inches. This 48-inch wrench has a pipe capacity of 5 inches, and the total O.D. tube capacity is 12 inches. The strap provides some back and forth ratcheting movement for tight spaces.
