Porter Cable 4.5 Amp Single Speed 1/4 In. Laminate Trimmer

Choose the fixed-base Porter-Cable® 4.5 Amp Single Speed 1/4-Inch Laminate Trimmer to have precision and control for refined routing work. Use the laminate trimmer on wood or laminated surfaces for a variety of tasks, including trimming, edging, beveling and slotting, plus it's ideal for routing out mortises for hinges and strike plates. A 4.5-Amp motor powers the single-speed Porter-Cable laminate trimmer at 31,000 rpm. The collar of the trimmer has an adjustment ring that works in conjunction with a micro-scale ring to set the depth of cut. A locking lever on the Porter-Cable trimmer maintains cutting depth after it's set. The spindle holds a 1/4-inch collet, and quick-release tabs let you remove the router easily from its base for free-hand routing with jigs and templates. The electric laminate trimmer comes with an LED task light that shines through a clear sub-base for excellent workpiece visibility.
