The SHARK SD101®, together with Next Wave CNC SHARK WIZARD® Software, offers the shortest learning curve possible on a CNC machine. If you’re looking to dive into CNC without learning more robust design software, this Wizard is tailor-made for you. The SHARK WIZARD® comes equipped with predesigned project templates that you can customize and then transmit to your Shark SD101 with a few keystrokes. The SHARK WIZARD® software provides projects for Carving, Lasering, and Rotary 4th (Laser & Rotary 4th Axis accessories sold separately). Built-in video tutorials will walk you through each stage of setup so you can be up and running quickly. The Shark SD101® CNC features a compact 15” x 21” table with a XYZ cutting area 12” x 13” x 4”. The footprint allows the entire machine to be stored under or on one end of your workbench. This full-function CNC machine can produce high-quality 2D and 3D plaques or signs, ornamental boxes, and precision parts machined from wood, Non-Ferrous Metals, or plastics. The Next Wave CNC SD101® is made in the USA and includes USA-based technical support. The SHARK SD101® also includes Next Wave CNC’s exclusive easy-to-use Ready2Control Basic panel software, which allows the user complete visibility and control over the entire project during CNC operation. The SHARK SD101® with onboard electronics and plug-and-play design will accept most of Next Wave’s full line of accessories, such as the 2W & 7W laser modules, the mini 4th axis, touch plate, and Shark Tooth. The SHARK SD101® is fully upgradeable: Once you feel you want to progress into additional designing, the SD101 is fully compatible with any of the VCarve design programs (sold separately). Add a pendant to the SD101®, and you can operate it without the need to have a computer attached. (sold separately). The SHARK SD101® has an added feature not found on other CNCs: you can adjust the slotted bed forward or backward to allow the SHARK SD101® to perform clamping and machining on ends of long boards, such as box joints or tenons.
