The Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty Lineman's Auger Bit is engineered to drill cleaner, faster holes in wooden utility poles for power utility applications. Its 3/8 Inch diameter and 18 Inch length provide an extended drilling reach, while the 7/16 Inch hex shank allows quick connection to compatible 7/16 Inch quick-connect chucks. An aggressive feed screw and cutting edge pull the bit efficiently through clean wood, helping increase drilling speed. The single spur design scores the edge of the hole to produce a cleaner opening, allowing bolts to pass through with reduced resistance. Optimized wide flute geometry rapidly ejects chips to help clear the hole and reduce clogging. A reinforced anti-friction PTFE coating promotes smoother drilling and easier bit removal from wood. The solid-stemmed core adds strength for demanding utility work. Designed specifically for power utility linemen, this bit is recommended for clean wood applications and is supplied in a convenient 25-piece pack.
