The Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty Lineman's Auger Bit is engineered for professional power utility applications requiring large, clean holes in wooden utility poles. Its 1-1/4 Inch diameter and 18 Inch length provide substantial drilling capacity and extended reach for installation and maintenance work. A 7/16 Inch hex shank enables quick connection to compatible 7/16 Inch quick-connect chucks for convenient field use. The aggressive feed screw and cutting edge pull the bit efficiently through clean wood, helping increase drilling speeds and productivity. Its single spur design scores the edge of the hole to create a cleaner finish, allowing bolts to pass through with less resistance. Optimized wide flute geometry rapidly ejects chips from the hole to reduce clogging and maintain efficient cutting. A reinforced anti-friction PTFE coating promotes smoother drilling and simplifies bit removal after use. The solid-stemmed core adds strength for demanding utility work. Recommended for clean wood only, this bit is supplied in a 25-piece pack for professional crews.
