The Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty Lineman's Auger Bit is engineered to deliver clean, fast holes in wooden utility poles for demanding power utility applications. Its 1-1/16 Inch diameter and 18 Inch length provide substantial drilling capacity and extended reach, while the 7/16 Inch hex shank allows quick connection to compatible 7/16 Inch quick-connect chucks. An aggressive feed screw and cutting edge pull the bit efficiently through clean wood to support faster drilling. The single spur design scores the edge of the hole, creating a cleaner opening that allows bolts to pass through with reduced resistance. Optimized wide flute geometry rapidly ejects chips to help clear the hole and reduce clogging. A reinforced anti-friction PTFE coating promotes smoother drilling and easier removal from the pole. The solid-stemmed core adds strength for demanding utility work. Recommended for clean wood only, this auger bit is supplied in a 25-piece pack for professional crews.
