The Metabo HPT WEPBA 17-150 Quick RT DS 6 Inch Angle Grinder combines powerful performance, advanced safety, and ergonomic handling for demanding industrial grinding and cutting applications. Its 14.5 amp 1000W motor delivers up to 9600 RPM, while Tacho Constamatic electronics maintain consistent speed under load for efficient material removal. Safety features include a deadman paddle switch, a quick-stop mechanical disc brake that stops the wheel within 2 seconds, an S-Automatic torque-limited clutch, and a safety clutch to help reduce kickback and improve control. The lightweight rat-tail design with slim grip and VibraTech side handle reduces fatigue during extended or overhead work. Additional features include tool-free M-Quick disc changes, a twist-proof adjustable guard, rotatable gear housing, soft start and restart protection, plus a steel tethering ring for secure use when working at heights.
