Its powerful 12 amp LongLife AC/DC motor delivers strong torque, up to 50 percent faster material removal, and increased overload capacity for demanding jobsite performance, reaching up to 10000 RPM and operating at 7000 RPM for efficient cutting and grinding. Advanced cooling design with optimized airflow, epoxy-coated copper windings, and reinforced armature protection extends motor life in harsh environments. Safety is enhanced by the S-Automatic mechanical safety clutch that helps reduce kickback during wheel jams, along with a non-locking paddle switch for immediate shutdown when released. The M-Quick system enables fast tool-free wheel changes, while a tool-free adjustable guard and included Type 1 clip-on guard improve versatility.
