The Makita Rapid Load Bump & Feed Trimmer Head, 0.80 (1917R5-0) is for use with select Makita LXT® and XGT® String Trimmers (String Trimmer sold separately). The 1917R5-0 is a flat bottom bump and feed trimmer head that features a quick-loading design for faster line changes, deeper trimming, and improved ground-contact performance, even on uneven terrain. The quick-loading mechanism allows the user to replace the nylon trimming line without disassembling the trimmer head. The Rapid Load Bump & Feed Trimmer Head features a lower spool profile that positions the nylon line closer to the ground for deeper, cleaner trimming. The 1917R5-0 features a dual-side eyelet design that allows for smoother nylon line insertion from either side for faster loading.
