The Makita 40 Volt Max XGT® brushless circular saw is a perfect cordless solution for taking on high-demand applications. Tool features Makita built brushless motor, which delivers 4000 RPM for high-speed cutting performance than corded. This 7-1/4 Inch rear handle tool cuts 3X the material in a single pass with an extra-large cutting capacity of 2-9/16 Inch. It provides 56 deg bevel capacity with positive stops at 22.5 deg as well as 45 deg and a bevel up to 56 deg. Saw is packed with feature like a die-cast magnesium base and an electric brake for increased productivity. The Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjusts cutting speed under load for optimum cutting performance. Circular saw is also equipped with Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) (XPT™), a series of integrated seals engineered to enhance tool operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. The XGT® is a system of equipment, tools, batteries and chargers that make use of 40 Volt max Lithium-Ion batteries. This XGT® is engineered to render high power to take on high-demand applications, while assuring complete transition to a cordless job site. The XGT® has advanced brushless motor engineering, intelligent digital communication and longer endurance features to outpower, outsmart and outlast the competition.
